In my personal journey towards a healthier lifestyle, I discovered the importance of small changes that have a big impact. One of these changes began in the morning when I woke up.
Like many people, I used to rely heavily on coffee to start my day. However, I soon realized that this habit wasn’t serving me well. For me, coffee had become like a crutch, just as cigarettes are to smokers.
Did you know that when you drink a cup of coffee, your body requires five glasses of water to compensate for the dehydration caused by the coffee? This means that if you start your day with coffee instead of water, your body is already starting in the red light zone. And if you continue to do this every day, you are depriving your body of the hydration it needs to function optimally.
That’s when I decided to make a small change and start my day with natural water infused with a dash of lemon juice instead of coffee. This simple switch allowed me to start my day in the green light zone, giving my body the hydration it needs to function at its best.
