At a point in my life when I felt like a failure for trying countless diets without seeing any significant changes, I began to question the reason behind my persistent attempts. If dieting was so challenging and demanding in my day-to-day life, why did I continue trying?
It wasn’t until I adopted the “step-by-step” approach that I started seeing real progress. Learning from my mistakes and being grateful for them helped me understand what works for me.
Prior to implementing any changes, I had a sedentary lifestyle, was a fast food lover, and spent most of my time watching movies. Combining these habits with days of extreme dieting or fasting resulted in a Yo-Yo effect on my body.
I realized that success was in making small changes consistently, which became part of my daily routine until they were ingrained as habits. It started with my morning routine, incorporating stretches and replacing coffee with herbal teas. I gradually reduced my sugar intake, increased my consumption of fruits and vegetables, and opted for stairs instead of lifts.
I can offer hundreds of examples of how implementing small changes worked for me, but I invite you to listen to your body and take it step by step. There’s no need to rush; enjoy the journey. Every day is an opportunity for something different and wonderful.
Thanks to all the diets and exercise routines I’ve tried before, I’ve learned and created my own healthy program. If you’d like to learn more about my lifestyle and try it out for yourself, continue following my posts. I’m doing my best to share all my secrets to success in my “step-by-step” journey towards a healthier life.
